The West Bengal government has started Aikyashree Scholarship Scheme, it is only for the students belonging minorities communities of the state. Aikyashree Scholarship Scheme

Aikyashree Scholarship portal is launched by the Minority Development and Finance Corporation. Aikyashree scholarship scheme is consist of 5 scholarship schemes. Under this scheme, the state government of West Bengal will provide financial assistance to the meritorious minority students(Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Jains).

Students of class 1 to Ph.D. level can apply for the West Bengal scholarship through the Aikyashree Scholarship Portal. Aikyasree Scholarship provides for the entire educational expenses of the students. The scholarship includes hostel accommodation fees and free school and college education for meritorious students.

Financial Assistance Provided Under Aikyashree Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship For Minorities, West Bengal

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
• If the student is studying in class 11th or 12th, the student must have secured at least 75% in their intermediate.
• If the student is doing graduation, diploma, or pursuing higher education then the student must have secured at least 75% in class 12th.
• Those students who are pursuing M.Phil and doctoral courses can be also eligible to apply for this scholarship.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than 2.5 lakhs rupees.
• The scholarship will be provided to the students according to the merit list.

West Bengal Post Matric Scholarship For SC/ST/OBC

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
• Students belonging to the SC, ST, and OBC communities are eligible for this scheme.
• The annual family income of the OBC applicants should be less than Rs 1 lakh.
• The annual family income of the SC/ST applicants should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh.
• Students studying in class 11th, 12th, graduation, and under-graduation are eligible for this scheme.

Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship, West Bengal

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
• This scholarship scheme is only for female applicants.
• Applicant must have passed class 12th and enrolled in any field of engineering, medicine, or basic science.

Hindi Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal

• The applicant must be a resident of West Bengal.
• The applicant must belong to a non-Hindi-speaking state.
• Applicant must have at least passed 10th.
• For HS: Hindi is to be subject In H.S. course and 60% marks in aggregate in the Matric Exam. (Madhyamik / CBSE/ICSE etc.)
• For UG: Hindi to be a subject in UG-course and 60% aggregate marks in the H.S. Exam.
• For PG: Hindi to be the subject of study and 60% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation

West Bengal Pre Matric Scholarship For Sc St Student

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
• This scheme is for the St, Sc students studying in class 9th and 10th.
• The applicant’s annual family income should be less than 2 lakh rupees.

How To Apply For Aikyashree Scholarship?

To apply for the Aikyshree scholarship you need to follow the simple steps given below:

• First of all, you have to visit the official website of the West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation.

• Now on the home page of the website, you have to click on New Registration 2020-21.
• After that, you have to select the District of your Institute.
• After selecting the district, the application form will be open on your screen.
• Now you have to fill in all the details asked in the application form carefully such as personal details, residence details, Income details, bank details, etc.
• After filling in all the details, click on Submit and proceed.
• Now you have to upload the scanned copy of asked details in the form.
• After uploading all the documents click on Submit.
• Now you have successfully applied for the Jayashree scholarship.

How To To Track Application?

First of all, you have to visit the official website of the West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation.

• Now on the home page, you have to click on Track Application.

• Now select your Year Of  Registration, District,  enter Application Id, DOB, and click on Submit.
• Now application status will be on your screen.

Procedure To Do SVMCM Renewal

First of all, you have to visit the official website of the West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation.

• Now on the home page, you have to click on SVMCM Renewal.
• Now you have to select District.
• Then a new page will open, and on that page renewable form will appear.
• Fill in all the details asked in the renewable form such as the registered Bank account number of SCMCM and the old SVMCM permanent Id.
• And then click on Submit.
• Again you have to enter a few details on a new page such as Domicile state, Domicile district, Block/municipality, Student’s Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Gender, Religion, Date of birth, Mobile number, Savings bank account number, Bank IFS code.
• Then click on Submit and Proceed.
• Now you have to upload the mentioned documents and click on Submit.

How To Renewal Of Application?

First of all, you have to visit the official website of the West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation.

• Now on the home page, you have to click on Renewal Application 2020-21.
• Now you have to enter Application ID, DOB, District, and Captchacode and click on Login.
• After login on to the website, Renewal Application Form will open on your screen.
• Fill in the application form, upload the mentioned documents and click on Submit.
• Now you have successfully applied for the renewal of the application.

Procedure To View Register Institute

First of all, you have to visit the official website of the West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation.

• On the home page. you have to click on the list of registered institutions.
• Now you have to select the  District and click on Submit.
• Now the list of Registered Institute will be displayed on your screen.
