Digital Voter ID Card

On 25th January 2021 Digital Voter Id Card was launched by the Election Commission Of India. Digital Voter Card is known as e-Epic(Electronic Electoral Photo Identity Card). The citizen can download their Digital Voter ID Card/ e-EPIC through the eci.gov.in or nvsp.in.

The applicant will receive a PDF version of the e-EPIC in the digital form of the voter card and he/she will also get a hard copy of the voter card. The applicant will be able to store their e-EPIC in the dig locker and the e-EPIC will come with the QR code.

Phases Of Digital Voter ID Card

1st Phase Of Digital Voter ID Card

• Phase 1 started on 25 Jan 2021 to 31 Jan 2021.
• In phase 1 only new applicants who have completed the registration process with the help of their mobile number will receive the e-EPIC during this period.

2nd Phase Of Digital Voter ID Card

• Phase 2 started on 1 February 2021.
• After 2021 all the voters are eligible to download their e-EPIC.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for Digital Voter ID Cards, the applicant has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

• Phase 1: All new voters who have registered themselves during Special Summary Amendment 2021 and have a unique mobile number in the nomination are eligible.
• Phase 2: All general voters are eligible.

Registering Procedure In NVSP Portal

• First of all, you have to visit the official website NVSP Portal.

• Now on the home page click on Login.
• If you are already registered into the portal then enter login credentials.
• If you are new to the portal then, click on Don’t have an account, and Register as a new user.
• Now a registration form will be open on your screen,

• Now fill in all the details asked in the registration form such as name, email, mobile number, etc.
• After entering email and mobile click on get OTP.
• Now an OTP will be sent to the registered email and mobile number, fill it in the form.
• And at last click on Register.
• Save the username and password for future use.

• Click on the Track Your Complain.
• Now enter the Complain ID/Reference No.
