The Maharashtra government has started the Mahadbt portal through which the meritorious students can apply for mahadbt scholarship provided by the state government. Under this scheme, the state government provides various scholarships like post-matric, Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship, Post-Matric Scholarship for persons with disability, etc.

For Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship
To apply for the Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship, the applicant has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
The beneficiary student should be a resident of Maharashtra.
The students should belong to the Scheduled Caste or Navbouddha category.
The annual income of students’ families should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh.
The student should pass SSC / equivalent matriculation.
For Post Matric Tuition Fee and Examination Fee
To apply for the Post Matric Tuition Fee and Examination Fee, the applicant has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
The beneficiary student should be a resident of Maharashtra.
The students should belong to the Scheduled Caste or Neo Buddhist.
The annual income of students’ families should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh.
The student should pass SSC / equivalent matriculation.
The institute in which the student is studying should be recognized by the Maharashtra Government.
The students should be given admission through the CAP round only for Professional Courses.
For Maintenance Allowance for Students Studying in Professional Courses
To apply for the Maintenance Allowance for Students Studying in Professional Courses, the applicant has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
Students must be scholarship holders of the Government of India.
Students admitted to professional courses can only avail the benefit of this scheme.
The annual income of students’ families should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh.
Students should be studying professional courses and staying in hostels.
For Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship
To apply for the Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship, the applicant has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
The beneficiary student should be a resident of Maharashtra.
The beneficiary should belong to SC, to apply for this scheme.
There is no income limit in this scheme, everyone can apply for this scheme despite their economic status.
Students must be studying in class 11th or 12th.
Students have to score at least 75% on the 10th board.
Post-Matric Scholarship for Persons with Disability
To apply for the Post-Matric Scholarship for Persons with Disability, the applicant has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

For the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) Mahadbt Scholarship
The applicant should be a resident of Maharashtra.
Students who belong to Maharashtra and Karnataka state borders
can apply for this scheme. The annual income of students’
families should be less than Rs 8 lakh.
General Category students can apply for this scheme.
Courses that students have enrolled in must be approved by the government or AICTE.
The student should not receive any other scholarship benefits.
Students should not have a gap of 2 years during their course.
Students should have given all semester exams.
Assistance to Meritorious Students Scholarship – Junior Level
Students of class 11th and 12th are eligible for this scheme.
The students must have a DHE sanctioned letter.
The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra can apply for this scheme.
Education Concession to the Children of Ex-Servicemen
Applicant’s son / daughter / wife / widow of ex-servicemen are eligible for this scheme.
Students have to be enrolled in government-aided colleges.
The Maharashtrian Students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.
Eklavya Scholarship
The beneficiary student should be a resident of Maharashtra.
Students must have graduated in law, commerce, and arts degree courses with at least 60% marks and science with at least 70% marks.
The annual income of the student’s parents should be less than Rs 75000.
The beneficiary should not work a part-time or full-time job.
Maharashtrian Students studying outside Maharashtra are ineligible for this scheme.
State Government Open Merit Scholarship
The applicant should be a resident of Maharashtra.
The applicant has to secure at least 60% marks in class 12th.
Students who have enrolled in arts, commerce, science, and law courses can only apply for this scheme.
Maharashtrian Students studying outside Maharashtra are ineligible for this scheme.
Possessing Mathematics/Physics
The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra State.
To avail the benefit of this scheme, students should have to secure 60% in science and 60% in Maths & Physics in class 12th.

Government Vidyaniketan Scholarship
The student should have passed the class 10th exam with at least 60% from the State Government Vidyanikethan only.

The applicant should only be a graduate student from a non-agricultural university.

The parents of the student must be registered laborers.

The candidates must have passed SSC in Maharashtra state.
The applicant should be a “Bonafide Student of Institute” and admitted to Professional and Technical courses (diploma/graduation/ post-graduation degree).
The candidate should be admitted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) / Institute Level.

The applicant should be a domicile of Maharashtra.

Male beneficiaries will get a scholarship amount of Rs 40 per month for 10 months and Rs 80 per month for non-hosteller.
Female Beneficiary will get a scholarship amount of Rs 160 per month for 10 months and an addition of Rs 100 per month to day scholars as well as to hosteller.

Hostel Allowance of Rs 3000 per annum will be provided to students pursuing courses in Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, and Aurangabad and Rs 2000 for students in other locations.
