• The applicant should be a resident of India.
• To apply for the caste certificate the applicant should be a permanent resident of Manipur and must be residing in Manipur for at least 5 years.

Documents Required

• Identity Proof.
• Address Proof.
• Certificate of membership in the caste/tribe issued by the President/Secretary of the Caste/Tribe Association or any other competent authority.
• Verification report through the concerned Sub Divisional Officer having jurisdiction at the place of residential address.
• Passport size photograph.

Validity And Fees

How To Apply For Manipur Caste Certificate?

Through Online Method

• First of all, you have to visit the official website Manipur e-Pramaan Portal.

• Now on the home page, you have to click on Click here to Login With ePramaan.
• If you already have access to the website then enter your user name password and login on to the portal.
• If you are new to the portal then you have to create your login Id first.
• To create a login id you have to click on New user? Create an account.
• Then you will get 3 options select any of them through which you want to log in to the portal.
  • Registration using Aadhar Number
  • Registration using Driving License
  • Registration without Identity verification
• Now a form will open, fill in all the details carefully and click on Verify Through e-KYC.
• Now an OTP will be sent to your mobile number, enter it in the form.
• Now the registration page will open on your screen.
• Fill in all the details asked in the application form such as personal details, contact details, identity details, etc., and click on Submit.
• Now you have to log in with your registration Id.
• Now to have to select Caste Certificate from the service tab.
• Then an application form will open on your screen, fill in all the details in the application form carefully.
• Upload the documents asked in the application form and click on Submit.
• After successful submission of the application form, you will get an application number to save it for future use.

Offline Method

• First of all, you have to visit the  Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
• Then take the application from the office or you can download it from the given link below

• Now fill in the application form, then attached the required document with an application form and submit it to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
• After submission of the application form, you will get an acknowledgment number to save it for future use. You have to show it while collecting the certificate.
• After verification caste certificate will be issued within 15 days of application.

• To check the application status of the Caste Certificate, the applicant has to visit the official website of Manipur e-Pramaan Portal.
• On the home page, you have to click on Application Status.
• Now enter the Application Number and click on Search.
• Now application status of the Caste Certificate will be displayed on your screen.

How To Verify And Print The Caste Certificate?

• To check the application status of the Caste Certificate, the applicant has to visit the official website of Manipur e-Pramaan Portal.
• On the home page, you have to click on VERIFY / PRINT CERTIFICATE.
• Now enter the Application Number and click on Search.
• Now Income Certificate will be open on your screen.
• Now you can verify and print out your Caste Certificate.
