Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Manipur Residence Certificate, the applicant has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• The applicant should be a permanent resident of Manipur.
• A married woman who does not belong to Manipur but is married to a permanent resident of Manipur can apply for a domicile certificate.

Documents Required

The following documents are required at the time of applying for the Manipur Residence Certificate:

• Identity Proof such as Aadhar Card, pan card, voter Id, etc.
• Residence Proof (Photocopy of Land Deed/Documentary Evidence of Residential Land, Residential Certificate issued by S.D.O.
• Birth Proof.
• Self-declaration from the applicant.
• Passport size photograph.

How To Apply For Manipur Residence Certificate

• Offline Method: Through CSC Centre 
  • First of all, you have to visit the Common Service Centre in your area.
  • Then take the application form from the operator of CSC Centre or you can download it from the given link below.

• Then submit the duly filled form attached with the mentioned documents above to Common Service Centre Centre
• Then the CSC operator will forward the application form to the concerned authority. after submission of the application form, you will get a Reference number by which you can check the application status or you can download the certificate from it.
• Now you will get the application status on your registered mobile number and email.
• After verification Residence certificate will be issued, you have to visit the CSC center and get the digitally signed domicile certificate.

• Now on the home page on the Login Tab select Citizen and click on Click here to Login With ePramaan.
• If you already have Login Id then log in on the portal and if you are new to the portal then click on New user? Create an account.
• Now you will get 3 options:
  • Registration using Aadhaar Number / VID
  •  Registration using Driving Licence
  •  Registration without Identity verification (not recommended)
• Select one of them and fill in the information asked in the form such as Identity, Residential Details, etc.
• Then OTP will be sent on your registered mobile and email id, fill it in the form.
• After registration, log in to the portal.
• Then select Domicile on the Service option, Fill in all the details in the application form.
• Upload the asked documents and click on Submit.
• After submission of the application form, you will get an acknowledgment slip to save it for future use.

How To Check The Application Status Of Residence Certificate?

• First of all, you have to visit the official website of Manipur e-Pramaan Portal.
• Then on the home page of the portal, you have to click on Application Status.

• Now fill in the Application Number and click on Search.
• Now required details will be on your screen.

Procedure To Download The Residence Certificate

• First of all, you have to visit the official website of Manipur e-Pramaan Portal.
• Now on the home page of the portal, you have to click on VERIFY / PRINT CERTIFICATE.

• Now fill in the Application Number and click on Search.
• Now residence certificate is on your screen, you can download and print it.
