Income Considerations

The family income calculation only includes the income of unmarried brothers, unmarried sisters, and living members together. In addition to salary, the following income is also considered for calculation.

  • Income from business
  • Income from property
  • Income of NRI member
  • Rental income
  • Income from labor

While calculating the family income the following income is not considered for calculating

  • Income of widows
  • Family pension.
  • Terminal benefits.
  • Festival allowance.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Manipur.
  • The employed Resident of Manipur is eligible to apply for an income certificate if an income certificate is required for any purpose.

Documents Required

  • Identity Proof.
  • Address Proof such as Ration card, Passport, Aadhar Card, etc.
  • Age Proof.
  • Proof in support of income is drawn by an employed parent in Public Sector Units or an organized private sector: Salary slip or income statement issued by the DDO of the concerned office, or it’s equivalent.
  • Documents in support of income earned by employed or self-employed in the unorganized private sector:  In the affidavit, executed on stamp paper of denomination of 5 rupees, and an oath or affirmation made before an executive magistrate, a judicial magistrate, notary public, or an oath commissioner of Income-tax assessment order.
  • Certificate from BDO – For Rural areas. Certificate from DAO, DHO, DVO, etc. – For persons having income from Agriculture, Horticulture, and Veterinary Sources.

How To Apply For Manipur Income Certificate Online?

To apply for the Income Certificate through the online method you need to follow the simple steps given below:

  • Now on the home page of the website, you have to click on select Citizen and click on Click here to Login With ePramaan.
  • If you already have access to the website then enter your user name password and login on to the portal.
  • If you are new to the portal then you have to create your login Id first.
  • To create a login id you have to click on New user? Create an account.
  • Then you will get 3 options select any of them through which you want to log in to the portal.
    • Registration using Aadhar Number
    • Registration using Driving License
    • Registration without Identity verification
  • Now a form will open, fill in all the details carefully and click on Verify Through e-KYC.
  • Now an OTP will be sent to your mobile number, enter it in the form.
  • Now the registration page will open on your screen.
  • Fill in all the details asked in the application form such as personal details, contact details, identity details, etc., and click on Submit.
  • Now you have to log in with your registration Id.
  • Then from the service option, you have to click on the Income certificate.
  • Now fill in all the details asked in the application form.
  • Upload the scanned copy of asked documents and click on Submit.
