MOMA Scholarship 2022

MOMA Scholarship is started by the Ministry Of Minorities Affairs for students belonging to minority communities i.e Christian, Buddhist, Jain, Muslim, Sikh, and Zoroastrian (Parsi). Under this scheme, the central government will provide scholarships to the meritorious students of the minority community and financial assistance of Rs 600 to Rs 12,00 every month.

There are 3 types of scholarship under MOMO Scholarship i.e Pre-matric, Post-matric, and Legitimacy cum-Means Scholarship for Technical Courses CS and Professional. So under the MOMA scholarship, the students studying in classes 1 to 12 can also apply for the scholarship and the student pursuing a higher degree and p.hd can also apply.

Types Of Scholarship Under MOMA Organization

  • Pre Matric Scholarship

This scholarship scheme is for the minority students studying in class 1 to 10 standards. Under this scheme, a scholarship amount of Rs 600 is provided to the beneficiary every month. To apply for this scholarship applicant’s family’s annual income should be less than Rs 1 lakhs.

  • Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities

This scholarship scheme is for the minority students studying in class 11 to 12 standards and enrolled in ITI, Diploma, graduation, and post-graduation. Under this scheme, a scholarship amount of Rs 10,000 every year, as well as up to Rs 1200 per month. To apply for this scholarship applicant’s family’s annual income should be less than Rs 2 lakhs.

  • Legitimacy cum-Means Scholarship for Technical Courses CS and Professional

This scholarship scheme is started for minority students alumni or students seeking to specialize after graduation or after specific classes. Under this scheme, a scholarship amount of Rs 20,000 is provided to the beneficiary every year. To apply for this scholarship applicant’s family’s annual income should be less than Rs 2.5 lakhs.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for MOMA Scholarship 2022 the applicant has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • For Pre-Matric Scholarships
    • The applicants should be studying in the 1 to 10th standard.
    • The applicant should score at least 50% in the previous year’s annual exam.
    •  The annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than Rs 1 lakhs.
  • For Post-Matric Scholarships
    • The applicants should be studying in 11 to 12th standard or enrolled in ITI, Diploma, graduation, or post-graduation.
    •  The annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than Rs 2 lakhs.
  • Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Technical Courses CS and Professional
    • The applicants should be enrolled graduate or postgraduate level in technical/professional classes.
    • The applicant should score at least 50% in the previous year’s annual exam.
