SSP Scholarship 2022

In our country, there are many meritorious students who belong to poor families who have to drop out of school due to financial problems. To help and encourage those meritorious students of the state the government of Karnataka has started SSP Scholarship. SSP Stands for State Scholarship Portal. Under this scheme, the central government will bear 50%, and the state government will bear 50% of the fee amount. Hence, they will reimburse 100% of the fees of the students.

Under this scheme, the students can apply for the Pre Matric scholarship and Post Matric Scholarship. The students will be able to get the scholarship from class 1 to till the higher course (Technical course). Objective Of SSP Scholarship 2022

The main objective of this scheme is to provide education to those meritorious students who belong to the economically backward section.

SSP Post Matric Scholarship

The SSP Post-Matric Scholarship is awarded to those students who are getting further education from class 10th. This scholarship is given to candidates of OBC, SC, ST, etc. categories. Eligibility Criteria For SSP Post Matric Scholarships

For Technical Education Department
1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
2. The annual income of beneficiary parents must be between Rs 2.5 lakhs to Rs 10 lakhs.
3. For Defence Scholarship, applicant parents serving in Army/Navy/Airforce or working as JCO/NCO/ Lower rank.
Medical Education Department
1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
2. The annual income of beneficiary parents must be between Rs 2.5 lakhs to Rs 10 lakhs.
Karnataka state Brahmin development board
1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
2. The annual income of beneficiary parents must be between Rs 2.5 lakhs to Rs 10 lakhs.
Department of backward class welfare
1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
2. For Category 1, the annual income of the beneficiary family should be less than Rs 2.5 lakhs.
3. For category 2A, 3A, 3B, and other OBC aspirants, the annual income of the beneficiary family should be less than Rs 1 lakhs.
