Today in the digitalization world it is important to know the basics of technology. Under Tamil Nadu Free Laptop Scheme the state government of Tamil Nadu will distribute the laptops to meritorious students of the economically backward section who has passed the board exams. Both 10th and 12th passed students are eligible to apply for this scheme.

By proving laptops to the students of the economically backward sections the motive of the government is to encourage them toward education and to make them up to of the latest technologies so that they can get in the IT field which will help them to grow.

Documents Required

• The candidates must have an Aadhar Card.
• School Id is a must for the Candidate applying for the free laptop.
• Caste proof documents to prove eligibility.
• Income Certificate of the family from all sources.
• Resident Proof/Domicile.
• Further admission proof.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be a native of Tamil Nadu.
• The applicant should have recently passed class 10th and 12th standard examination from a government or aided reputed school.
• Preference will be given to the Scheduled Caste(SC) and Scheduled Tribe(ST) applicants.

The following steps are provided to apply for the TN free laptop distribution scheme.

• Go to the official website of the Tamil Nadu free laptop distribution scheme i.e. http://117.239.70.115/e2s/LoginAction.htm.

• Fill in the Login details on this page i.e. your User Name, Password, and captcha, and click on the “Login” button.
• In the registration form fill in your credentials.
• Upload the scanned documents i.e. your Aadhar card, student ID, Family Income certificate, resident proof, and caste proof.
• Click on the “Submit” button.
• Print your application form for future purposes.
