West Bengal Lakshmi Bhandar Scheme is started by the chief minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee on 1st September 2021. This scheme is to help those families who have does not have a proper source of income. Those who do not have govt, or as well as any private job, can apply for this scheme. Under this scheme, the state government will provide financial assistance to the female head of the family for their daily expenditure.
Under this scheme, the state government will provide financial assistance of Rs 1000 per month to the beneficiaries of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe and Rs 500 to the beneficiaries of the general category. The financial assistance will be directly transferred into the beneficiary bank account so it is important to link aadhar card with the bank account.

- WB Lakshmi Bhandara Scheme is started by the West Bengal government in September 2021.

- The applicant must be a resident of West Bengal.
- SC and ST families of the state are eligible for this scheme.
- Women age should be in between 25 to 60 years.
- Those general category beneficiaries are not eligible for this scheme, whose families have at least one taxpayer member.
- Women belonging to the general category who have more than 2 hectares of land cannot apply under this scheme.
