YSR Jagananna Vidya Kanuka Scheme
On 8th October 2020, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy started YSR Jagananna Vidhya Kanuka Scheme. Under this scheme, the state government of Andhra Pradesh will distribute the school kits to the poor students of classes 1 to 10th.
The school kits will have three pairs of uniforms, one pair of shoes, two pairs of socks, a belt, a set of textbooks, and notebooks, and a school bag. Under this scheme, the government of Andhra Pradesh will also decide to renovate the 12, 356 schools all across the state. To provide a good environment and better facilities, govt had decided to build an English lab, computer lab, clean drinking water, toilets, etc.

Benefits Of YSR Jagananna Vidya Kanuka Scheme
- Under this scheme, the state government will provide instruction packs for the understanding of government schools.
- The state government will provide the necessary thing needed for school such as books, bags, uniforms, etc.
- This will be beneficial for many poor students who do not have that much money to spend money on things like uniforms, books, bags, shoes, etc so this scheme will help them and encourage them towards education.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for Vidya Kanuka Scheme the applicant has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- The student should be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.
- The beneficiary should be studying in the government school.
- Regular going students will only get the benefits of this scheme.
- Students stying in class 1 to class 1oth are eligible for this scheme.

How To Apply For YSR Jagananna Vidya Kanuka Yojana?
There is no such website and application where you can apply for this scheme, the government of Andhra Pradesh will distribute the School Kits to the students through the schools. For this, the beneficiaries do not have to fill out any application form.
