Vikramaditya Scholarship Scheme 2022
This scheme is started by the state government of Madya Pradesh on the recommendation of the General Poor Class Welfare Commission to help the brilliant students of the general category who are from financially weaker classes. This scheme is for the general category of students of the economically backward class who are interested in studies and face difficulties in getting an education due to economic conditions.
Under this scheme, the state government will provide free education to undergraduate level students who have scored 60% or more in their 12th board examination. The annual income of the student’s family should be less than Rs 120000 for higher education and Rs 54000 for graduation.
Vikramaditya Scholarship Scheme Objectives
- The state government has started this scheme with the objective of providing free higher education at the undergraduate level to the general poor students below the poverty line.
- Under the scheme, free education will be provided at the undergraduate level to the poor students who have secured more than 60 percent marks in the 12th board examination and the annual income of parents is 120000 (for higher education) or 54000 (for graduation).
- Students belonging to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, and General Classes are entitled to the scheme provided they have annual marks and top marks in the twelfth board examination.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a native of Madhya Pradesh
- The benefit of this scheme will be given only to the children studying in poor families.
- The annual family income of students of the general category should be Rs. 54000 / – (for graduation).
- The annual family income of the general category students should be Rs120000 (for higher education).
- 12th class must pass the first class (60%).
- There should be regular admission to the college.

How To Apply Online For Vikramaditya Scholarship Scheme?
- First of all, you have to go to the official website of the State Scholarship Portal 2.0. @ www.scholarship portal.mp.nic.in.
- After this, the homepage of the website will open in front of you.
- Scroll down the home page and check the Student Corner.
- Click on the link – “Register Yourself.”
- After this, a new page will open in front of you.
- On this page, you will be provided information about the new registration process in the session 2019-20.
- After reading all the information, you have to tick the box given in the declaration and click on the button “Continue”.
- After this, a new page will open in front of you. On this page, you have to enter your Aadhaar card number and click on the “Check & Verify” button.
- Now an application form will open in front of you. On this page, you have to record all the information asked.
- After registering all the information, you upload the required documents to the designated place.
- After checking the information you have entered, you can click on the Submit button given below.

- After this, the homepage of the website will open in front of you.
- On the Homepage, click on the option “Track Gaon ki Beti / Pratibha Kiran / Vikramaditya Yojna Application Status”.
- Select the Applicant ID and Academic Year received at the time of application and click on the button “Show My Application”.
- Now, the status of the scholarship application will appear on your computer and mobile screen.
